My name is Rebello Volito Aglee. I come from Goa, which is often called the Rome of the East. When I was in high school I'd often go to outdoor catering venues - that’s where my passion for the hotel industry started.
As soon as I finished my Higher Secondary School Certificate (similar to A Levels), I studied a Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management, and soon started working as a Trainee Steward at the Royal Goan Beach Club at Royal Palms Benaulim.
After receiving an offer from The Beach Goa Benaulim, I started work as an assistant waiter. I was still eager to learn more, and wanting to improve my knowledge, I kept looking, finally getting a chance to work in The Leela Kempinski Mobor ( also in Goa) as a waiter and bar waiter. While working as a bar waiter I became fascinated with behind the bar work.
This convinced me to do my Course of Bartending in Goa, which soon led to work as a pre-opening team member for Grand Hyatt Goa, where I joined as a bartender. I eventually decided to take a short break from the hospitality industry, so I left Grand Hyatt, but it seems the industry wasn't done with me. I got an offer from Zeebop By The Sea to work as a food and beverage manager. While working for Zeebop I also set up two restaurants for Silver Sands Holiday Village, known as Chicago and St. Tropez.
After these experiences I finally moved to the UK and joined Dawat as a bar and restaurant manager. With my excellent bartending as well as food and beverage experience, and skills acquired through seven years in the hospitality industry, I aspire to contribute to the flourishing and profitable atmosphere at Dawat.
I have in-depth knowledge allowing me to assess, anticipate and meet multiple guests requirements at a high quality standard. I have a strong communication and guest relation skills, providing guests with a perfect dining experience, following all security regulations and policies.
